Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ! Summer has come and gone and now we are enjoying our favorite time of year. Fall! Although fall is the rainy season here and looks much different than Tennessee we still look forward to the coolness of the air.

Now that school is in session Kiara has been busy planning and teaching school. MJ is back playing sports and Akyra is growing fast! Matt continues to make connections in the community and work the 2040 program.
During our short summer trip to the States, we made connections, attended conferences and celebrated both our children's birthdays with family and friends. It was a great and much needed time.

We want to say thank you to each and every person/church that supports us. You truly are the coal that keeps the engine firing.
During our conference update we asked for support on our current education project with Celebrating Teachers, for the local schools here in Mexico. Your help fulfilled the need!

We were finally able to get the semi-truck to the border and now it is in transit. This entire process has been a learning experience for us. When it comes to the border, everything in Mexico is based on who you know. Through this project we have been able to make connections with new missionaries and even educate ourselves with Mexico's legal processes. With your prayers and God's timing, we will be able to distribute the supplies to schools in need.
This year the Mexican Government changed major subjects in the school system. There no longer are Math, Science, or History books. Every school is now teaching about same sex and even encourages children as young as 5 to explore their sexuality by classifying their own gender based on how they feel. As a result, many of the Christian churches here have banded together in protest against the current curriculum.
The past two months have been extremely busy for us. In church Nada es Imposible, Pastors Agus and Damara have been busy building connections to fund the church building project. Our connection groups throughout the city are growing and WE NEED a BUILDING.

As they preached out and traveled, we covered both our church in San Luis and Nada es Imposible. During this time both our cars broke down and our fridge went out, the kids were sick, Kiara got Covid, and Akyra was injured resulting in a hospital visit. Thank God she is ok! Matt continued working taking the public bus and taxi.
Through it all we managed to keep everything covered and God did the rest. The beauty of a team is we are able to cover one another. This is a blessing for us during our trips to the states. We no longer feel burdened when we need to leave and raise support. The

church must always continue to shine bright!
We enjoyed a short trip from Kiara's mom and stepdad. They thoroughly enjoyed their visit, and our children are very thankful to say the least. Kiara really enjoyed her mother on her birthday.
We had the honor of dedicating our first baby in San Luis. This was a very special time for us since we also baptized the baby's

mother in Jesus' name.
We want to give praise to God for a miracle he did in a woman named Rosa. She was bedridden for several months after a bad back surgery. Her daughter did everything for her. She was known as the bed lady in the community. We went and prayed with her. The next morning, she was walking for the first time in months. What a miracle! She called us with tears of Joy, testifying what God had done!
Iglesia Cristiana in San Luis is growing, and we praise God for it. Daily we pray for God to give us wisdom as we lead his people.

Recently we had a man who owns a construction company in Tepic that gifted the church a new electrical system. After building the classroom the electrical current was too much for the church to handle. God quickly fixed it for us!
Our Current projects/needs
Matt has been steadily working the 2040 program in Ahualamo and surrounding areas. The program has continued to expand, and more families are being added to the kingdom of God.

We are currently looking for partners who would like to support the 2040 program with $4000 a YEAR.
This will cover payment for teachers in the program and Supplies for the program's therapy classes.
Nada es Imposible church
We are currently in need of supporters for the building project. Our projected date to unite our 5 connection groups is the first Sunday of January. We want to go into the new year as a church, whole and ready to further evangelize the community. The estimated cost to complete this is $50,000. This will build a sanctuary, a bathroom and two classrooms.
This month we will be celebrating 10 years of marriage and look forward to the future. God has truly blessed us!
Once again thank you for your continued prayers and support! Please let us know how we can be in prayer for you. Be blessed!
