Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ. As many of you know, we are back and settled in Nazas. Due to Covid, we were unable to return in the time we desired but we were very thankful for the needed time spent with family and friends. Things in Mexico are very slow at this time. Many businesses have been shut down for 3 months now. People are thinking of new ways to earn money such as, selling personal items or food in the streets. Due to government mandates, we are still unable to meet as a whole for services in the church. However we are inviting 2 families each week to come for worship and word while still sending weekly recorded messages for those not present. We are also trying to meet in small group settings, however many people are very worried of the virus. Although cases are much lower in the country in comparison to the U.S, due to the lack of good medical care the death rate is much higher. Also, testing is very expensive.

There are road blocks at every city and state line. Police and military are checking temperatures of every passenger. Masks are required to wear in the car and outside. In big cities temperature checks are required to enter the store. You also must sanitize hands and shoes before entering. No children, pregnant women,or elderly with conditions are allowed in the stores.
Despite of all the travel restrictions, God has given us tremendous favor. Traveling is something we do often to get the things we need. Although many people are being turned away at stops by police and military, we are not. We explain who we are and our purpose in Mexico, then we are quickly given a smile and told to have a good trip. There's such a peace knowing we're in the will of God.
We want to give a special thanks to all of those who agreed to sponsor a child in Nazas for a year. It was assumed that the program wouldn't happen due to us being gone so long. Although we continued to stay connected and send messages, it's easy for a person's mind to wander when you're physically absent. Each month we will travel into the city and collect supplies needed for each child. This is a huge blessing. We've already made one trip to collect items and delivered them this week. Each child had a beautiful smile and were so grateful.Think of not having shoes with soles attached, underwear, or sanitary items for girls? With your help, we are able to provide actual needs.

We also want to say thank you to our church family First Apostolic! We were overwhelmed by the love and support given during our stay. We were able to bring back much needed items such as a bed for MJ, his favorite foods, games, and portable A/C. By no means do we take this for granted. Our current home is an upstairs apartment of 450sqft and stayed hot between 95 and 100 degrees everyday. Now we have cool air flowing. Praise God!
We are also excited to have found a building for the English school. The one we previously had, was rented out while we were away. However, this current building is in better condition and will be easier to prepare. This week we were able to meet with the president of Nazas and present our vision. She also agreed that she would help us find a more suitable home for our family. The English school is a God given opportunity to meet and connect with more people in the community for the sake of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It has given us so much favor in the community.
Without your support, none of this would be possible!
We leave you with a message of encouragement. As the world continues to worsen, it's important to remember that the gospel must continue. People must hear of a loving Savior who suffered, bled, and died so that we can be saved and with him in eternity. The world must see the church shine brighter than ever before. The church must represent a beacon of hope and peace. It must represent Christ. There is too much at stake to give our Lord and Savior a bad name. I pray we can all represent HIM well.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will heal their land
